Royal Oak FC is excited to announce our new partnership with Next Level Training beginning this winter. “This is another exciting time for ROFC and our development as a Club,” said Director of Coaching, Stephen Gorton.

“As an organization, we are super excited to bring our training program to the Royal Oak Football Club,” said Aaron Byrd, Founder of Next Level Training on Wednesday. “We have always had a great relationship and positive outlook on the community of Royal Oak, as it is where we first started a lot of our training programs over ten years ago.”

Throughout the years of Next Level, they have continued to expand, training over 500 college, Olympians, professionals, World Cup and National Team players. In addition, Next Level has worked with thousands of youth athletes around the entire Midwest, and continually strives to improve programs day in and out. Next Level has put together a custom Shooting and Finishing program for the Royal Oak Club that will entail many different types of finishing throughout a seven-week course, including proper ball-striking mechanics using laces, inside foot placement, breakaway, one-touch, opposite foot ball-striking and various other progressions through a heavy amounts of repetition and mechanic correction.

Goalkeeper Training during Shooting and Finishing Class - Goalkeepers are often the overlooked individual in the team. Goalkeeping is a crucial playing position. Our objective is to provide the foundation goalkeepers need to improve their technical skills to succeed. "We are excited to have Armen Tonianse running our Winter Goalkeepng program.  Armen is a great mentor for our players and will make sure he does everything he can do to make them better."
