NGU Soccer Club Announcement

NGU soccer club of Rome, GA, are excited and proud to announce their merger with Southern Soccer Academy (SSA). NGU is fulfilled and proud of where it has come over the past four years. Our players, families and staff have worked tremendously hard and invested so much time and love into NGU’s teams and programs. In reciprocation of that energy and commitment, NGU have decided to merge with SSA, in a mutual goal to further improve our soccer programs, develop our players, and provide the best coaching in the region. It’s a pleasure to join the SSA family and we look forward to becoming SSA North Georgia in the Spring of 2018.

This merger will give our players the access to play at the highest level. While allowing us to stay true to our roots and maintaining our fun, family atmosphere. It will elevate our current and future participants, and provide our elite level soccer players with the opportunity to participate at the highest levels of US youth soccer, via development Academy, Super Y, NPL programs and College showcase events.

Equally as important, our youngest and newest soccer members will benefit from a premier soccer education, via our enhanced Soccer SideKick and Recreational soccer leagues. We’re excited to share the ‘SSA Way’ and Chelsea FC within all our future programs and leagues. It’s always been our goal to positively enrich and engage participants off all ages and abilities through soccer, and we’re excited to deliver this to our community and members.

Thank you for being involved with NGU over the past 4 years! We can’t wait to see you all in the Spring as we delve into this exciting new chapter as SSA North Georgia.
