Big Shanty Park is conveniently located adjacent to Kennesaw Mountain High School, and amenities include four baseball fields, two soccer fields, four tennis courts and a children's playground. Youth soccer, baseball, tennis and an arts program are offered at the park. The Art Station at Big Shanty offers classes and workshops in visual, performing and literary arts. Dance and theatre camps are available in the summer. Main exhibits rotate monthly and feature a variety of artists and media. Works by local artists are also on display.
