What is MHFC Premier?
Monfort Heights Futbol Club is designed to teach players the game of soccer at a competitive level.  We will focus on teaching the game properly and concentrate on player development over wins and losses.

League:
Greater Cincinnati Premier Soccer League (GCPSL)  The objective of the Greater Cincinnati Premier Soccer League is to provide an opportunity for more competitive teams to compete in the U9-U14 age groups at a lower cost than club soccer while also having the ability to participate in local club tournaments. During the season, Premier teams interplay each other just as recreational teams. All teams are considered "travel teams" and will play half of their games at home and the other half at opponents' parks.

Fees:
Player registration fee includes:

•SAY National insurance/player card
•Uniforms
•Two Player Kits (home and away)
•MHAA admin fee, (game scheduling, registration administration, uniform purchases, etc.).
•Trainer, each team will be provided with 1 training session per week with a certified trainer.
•One tournament entry fee is included for each team.

Team Size's:
U9 (born in 2010) & U10 (born in 2009) play 7v7
U11 (born in 2008) & U12 (born in 2007) play 9v9
U13 (born in 2006) & U14 (born in 2005) play 11v11

Additional Information:
•Team formation is based on seasonal try-outs as other select clubs do. The goal is to form single-age teams but this is dependent on other GCPSL teams ability to form similar competitive teams.

•Practice will be held twice a week (one practice and one training session).

•Games are scheduled primarily for Saturdays and Sundays, with some scheduled during the week if necessary. Teams are asked to be flexible due to other Premier teams playing in mid-season tournaments.

•Tournament selection is up to the discretion of the coaches. These could be “Select” tournaments played against other programs in our area or held further away if the coach desires. It is expected that the coach will discuss with their team any desire to play outside the general area in case this involves additional travel costs. The team may also play in additional tournaments but those costs are the responsibility of the team. (Total team entry fees are capped at a particular level for each Premier team.)

•Some specific recreational league rules are encouraged but not required. For example, we encourage coaches to play all players at least half the game, but this is not required.
