⚾ Avonworth Summer Tournament Team Registration is Now Open!

Although the spring season is just getting underway, it’s time to start planning for summer baseball! We’re excited to open registration for the Avonworth Summer Tournament Teams for players ages 7U through 12U (based on age as of April 30). Register today by logging into your online account. 

📅 Important Dates:

• Registration Deadline: Thursday, May 15

• Practice Begins: Early June

• Tournaments Run: Late June through July (some may extend into August)

🧢 Who’s Eligible?

To be considered for a summer tournament team, players must:

• Be currently enrolled in the spring in-house season

• Participate in at least 60% of their spring in-house games through the conclusion of the Memorial Day tournament

🔍 Team Selection Info:

• We aim to include as many players as possible and will form multiple teams per age group when numbers allow.

• If registrations exceed available spots, coaches and commissioners may make roster decisions to ensure teams are balanced and competitive.

• Example: 15 players may be too many for one team but not enough for two, depending on tournament rules.

Families will be notified of team placement either way.

🏆 What to Expect:

• Each team will compete in 3–4 weekend tournaments in the Pittsburgh area.

• Tournaments range in competition level (A to C) to help us match teams appropriately.

• Players will be selected based on their spring performance and team needs.

• Selected players will be notified in early June and must confirm participation and submit payment within 24 hours.
