Spring Field Clean-up Day 2025

Our Avonworth youth baseball complex wouldn't run without volunteer support from our community. For dozens of years, hundreds of volunteers have helped to build our program and our facilities into what it is today. Let's keep that tradition alive in 2025.

Spring Field Clean-up Day marks the start of the Spring as we prepare our fields for the season ahead! Come join us.

We will meet down at the field complex next Saturday, March 15th, from 9 am to 1 pm to do some general maintenance tasks around the complex and down at the Pony field.

There are a number of tasks that we need to complete to get the complex ready for the spring season of practices and games. Even if you cannot come for the entire 4 hours, please try to stop down for part of the time and lend a hand.

We are also actively looking for volunteers to help on a Field and Maintenance Committee that goes beyond the one-day clean-up in the Spring. Our Director of Fields and Maintenance, Tony Geiger, does a fantastic job of keeping our facility a first-class place for our kids to play baseball, but he cannot do it alone. If you are interested in helping Tony on various projects or in small amounts of time here and there, please email Tony to volunteer for the committee. Tony will be utilizing any nice weather we get in the later afternoons and early evenings over the next few weeks to get some minor projects done down at the complex so if you have an hour or so to spare over the next few weeks, please reach out to Tony and come down and help.
