This year we are pleased to provide leagues for children K4 - 6th grade. Registration begins 1 Oct 2011.

There are several ways to donate toward our scholarship fund. You can choose to sponsor a child or make a donation towards the general scholarship fund. Click the Register Now button to make your donation at checkout or contact the Church office.

This season offers three payment plan options. The plans are listed during checkout.

Through Upward we seek "to introduce children to Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports." Designed for every child, we promote salvation, character and self-esteem in a Christ-centered family friendly environment.



The 2012 Upward basketball season is just around the corner! This year FBC-Bellevue is adding a K4-K5 league for younger children. Online registration begins 1 October! We look forward to working with our returning and new athletes this year. 
Did you play basketball growing up or have a great understanding of the rules of the game? If so, use this gift to make an impact in the lives of children as an Upward Sports referee. Click here to download the Referee volunteer form.

Do you want to join in on the fun with your child? Volunteer opportunities include: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Referee, Evaluation and Orientation Team, Greeter, Scorekeeper, Concessions, Set-Up and Clean-Up Crew. You can volunteer while signing up your child or contact the Church office for more information. A volunteer meeting will be held Friday Oct 14th at 6 P.M. at First Baptist Church.

Evaluation Dates

Evaluations will take place at the First Baptist Church Bellevue Family Life Center (FLC) as follows:

Saturday, Nov 19
12:00 - 4:00 pm
Friday, Dec 2
6:00 - 8:00 pm
Saturday, Dec 3
10:00am - 4:00pm
*Make-up evaluations will be scheduled as needed after Dec 3. Please contact the Church Office for available dates/times.


Deployed Parent?


As a small way of saying thank you to those who serve, Upwards has decided to sponsor any and every child who may have a parent or legal guardian who is currently deployed overseas and away from home.

  • Early registration cost per child is $60

  • After December 3 2011, the cost is $70

  • Deadline for registration is December 31

  • Basketball shorts are included in the registration cost
