ZERO TOLERANCE CONDUCT POLICY & AGREEMENT

Dear Parents and Guardians,

At West Mifflin Soccer Club, our mission is to provide a positive, safe, and development-focused environment for every player. We recognize that parents and families are a critical part of that experience, and we value your support.

To protect our players and preserve the integrity of our program, we enforce a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for inappropriate behavior. This policy is both firm and supportive—designed to ensure every child has the opportunity to grow, feel confident, and enjoy the game.

These expectations are non-negotiable and will be enforced consistently.

CORE EXPECTATIONS

All parents, guardians, and spectators are expected to:
• Promote a positive and encouraging environment for ALL players
• Show respect to players, coaches, referees, and other spectators at ALL times
• Allow coaches to coach without interference
• Model emotional control, sportsmanship, and appropriate behavior
• Understand that development, effort, and enjoyment are the priority—not winning

ZERO TOLERANCE BEHAVIOR

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action:
• Negative, critical, or disrespectful comments toward any participant
• Arguing with referees, coaches, or club officials
• Sideline coaching or yelling instructions
• Profanity, aggressive gestures, or confrontational behavior
• Any conduct that creates a hostile or unsafe environment

IMMEDIATE ENFORCEMENT

West Mifflin Soccer Club enforces the following WITHOUT WARNING:
• ONE INCIDENT = AUTOMATIC SUSPENSION
• Immediate removal from the field or facility
• Suspension from games and/or practices
• Additional disciplinary action, including season-long or permanent bans

Coaches and club officials have FULL AUTHORITY to remove any spectator immediately if behavior is deemed inappropriate.
Refusal to comply may result in escalation of disciplinary measures.

PLAYER-FIRST PHILOSOPHY

We are committed to ensuring that every player has the opportunity to learn, grow, and participate. Players develop at different rates, and mistakes are a natural part of learning. Our focus remains on effort, confidence, and long-term development.

REFEREE RESPECT – ZERO TOLERANCE

Referees are essential to the game and must be treated with respect at all times.
ANY form of referee abuse will result in immediate ejection and enforcement of PA West penalties, including suspensions and bans.
