Hope for Sean
Sean Barry is part of our Bayville Community Little League family.
Sean’s father, Kevin, has dedicated years to BCLL as a coach, board member, mentor, and friend.
He has positively impacted so many kids and families throughout our community both on and off the field.
In 2025, Sean was diagnosed with a rare inherited retinal disease called Leber Congenital Amaurosis (LCA),
a condition that affects vision and currently has no cure. The Barry family has been working with specialists and advocacy groups
while helping support efforts to advance promising treatment research.
Through it all, Sean continues to be the happy, funny, energetic kid we all know and love.
Bayville Community Little League is proud to stand with the Barry family and support their efforts to raise awareness and hope for Sean and others affected by this condition.
