The Second Annual 2026 NJYS FootGolf Championships is a fun and engaging event that combines the skills of soccer with the excitement of golf. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 4th at the prestigious Crystal Springs Resort in Sussex County, New Jersey, and is open to boys and girls ages 11–14 (birth years 2012-2015). 

The FootGolf Championship offers young players the opportunity to experience the resort’s world-class Cascades FootGolf Course, set against the scenic backdrop of the Kittatinny Mountains. New this year, the event will feature two divisions—Competitive and Open Play—allowing participants to choose the experience that best fits their style of play. The event will include a full round of play, on-course challenges, and a memorable day for all participants. Both divisions will include event-wide Longest Kick and Closest to the Pin competitions, giving every player a chance to shine and win a prize. 

Participants can choose from two divisions: 

Competitive Division ($30): 

Designed for players seeking a structured, score-based experience. Participants will compete for medals and prize packages, including an all-expense paid resort family getaway. 

Open Play Division ($20): 

A fun, flexible experience focused on enjoyment and participation. Players will complete a full round with optional scoring, making it a great fit for all experience levels while still taking part in event-wide challenges (e.g., Longest Kick and Closest to the Pin). 

Participation is limited for each age group, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, a waitlist will be utilized. All registrations must be submitted by Monday, July 20th.  

Please note: Lunch will be available for purchase prior to the event (details to come). Additional fees will apply for golf cart rental and ball rental; participants are welcome to bring their own ball.

Eligibility and Age Groups: Each player will compete for approximately 2 ½ hours with awards to follow.  Tentative schedule is listed below.  Exact start times will be communicated on or about Monday, July 27th. 

Registration: Participation is limited for each age group and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.  A waitlist will be utilized once capacity is reached. 

Deadline: Registration must be received by Monday, July 20th 

Fee:   

Includes round of FootGolf, participation in event-wide challenges, eligibility for medals and prize packages, and additional on-site staffing to support the competition

Prizes:  

Closest to the Pin & Longest Kick (Event-Wide) – Winners in each age group will receive a medal and a generous Crystal Springs Resort gift card. 

Competitive Division Winners (Each Age Group) – Winners receive a medal and two (2) nights at the AAA Four-Diamond Grand Cascades Lodge, including on-property dinners during their stay and access to all included resort activities, courtesy of Crystal Springs Resort.
