Thank you for considering to volunteer your time with South Central Little League! Volunteering is a great way to network with other parents and volunteers, use your skills and experiences in a positive way, and have a lasting impact on the youth in Floyd County and surrounding areas.

Whether you are looking to volunteer as a head coach, assistant coach, or just want to help in a variety of ways with practices, games, or any other event taking place at South Central, your time and dedication is valued and appreciated.

ALL volunteers (managers, coaches, members of the Board of Directors, and other persons, volunteer or hired workers who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to or contact with players or teams), MUST submit annually a Little League Volunteer Application, which can be completed during online player registration or by logging back into your Sports Connect account on the website after registration.

Little League Background Check Policy

Little League International requires all its leagues to conduct an annual background check, including a nationwide criminal search and a search of the National Sex Offender Registry. South Central  Little League utilizes J.D Palatine to conduct background checks. J.D. Palatine has a Criminal File database that contains more than 600 million records, including criminal and sex offender registry records covering 50 states and the District of Columbia, meeting the current Little League Regulation 1(c) 8 & 9 requirement.
