JR SPARTANS
Our goal of the Jr Spartan program is to build strong basketball players but more importantly we want to build player confidence, build character, and build and create fun memories with teammates. Down the road they will not likely remember their record, but instead the enjoyment they had playing and being with teammates. Please help to make it a positive experience for your son, other players, the volunteer coaches, and the refs. We all get caught up in the game at times and yes there will be some crazy calls, but we are trying as an organization to show respect and keep the focus on making it positive for the boys.

OUR GOALS:

FUNDAMENTALS - We strive to provide a place for players to learn the fundamentals of the game of basketball.

CHARACTER -  At 5030 Sports, we believe in building character right alongside athletic ability. Attributes such as self-confidence, resilience, teamwork, and self-respect are all positive side effects of playing the game of football the right way.

COMPETITIVE - Skill, hustle, and hard work are an expectation from every coach at 5030 Sports, along with good attendance and the intellectual work it takes to learn the game. While everyone on the team will learn how to play the game, players do compete for starting positions throughout the season.

LOCAL -  We practice here in the town of Berthoud, and provide the opportunity for kids to build relationships with their teammates for multiple years throughout their youth basketball careers. We work very closely with the Berthoud High School basketball program to be a feeder program, positioning your youth athletes for a seamless transition into their BHS years.
