We are excited to offer an opportunity for current 8th graders to learn about leadership! This will take place in a classroom type setting from 9am-3pm on Tuesday, November 11th (a non-school day for most of our area's students) and will focus on topics such as defining leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, problem solving, conflict resolution, public speaking, and adapting to change. Think of it as a fun day of school on a day off -- to learn about leadership! Some of the content will be delivered as it relates to student-athletes growing into strong team captains, but all of the leadership lessons will be preparing 8th graders for leadership tools to use throughout their high school years in any activity or setting.

We will hold our Introduction to Leadership session at Pine Springs Prep Middle School (1729 N. Main St., Holly Springs, NC). For lunch, we will provide pizza and students should bring their own drinks and snacks. Looking forward to a great day with 8th graders!
