Key Features of Speed Lacrosse 3v3:

Team Size: As the name suggests, it’s a 3v3 format, with each team consisting of three players—one goalie and three field players. This smaller team size encourages faster play and more opportunities for individual skill expression.
Smaller Field: The field is typically about 30-50 yards in length, much smaller than a standard lacrosse field. This reduces the time players have to make decisions and forces quick ball movement and rapid transitions.
Faster Game Flow: The emphasis is on fast breaks, quick passing, and scoring opportunities. Because of the small team size and fast nature of the game, possession changes frequently, making every second of play crucial.
Scoring: Goals are usually scored in a similar fashion to traditional lacrosse, with the ball being shot into the opponent's net. However, some leagues or casual games may also implement different scoring systems, like points for hitting specific areas or even multiple scoring zones on the goal.
Adaptable Rules: The rules can vary depending on where you play, but common features include shorter game times (around 6-8 minutes per half), no offsides, and continuous play with a shot clock or possession limit.

Skill Development: Speed Lacrosse 3v3 focuses on ball-handling, passing accuracy, and shooting skills, giving players a great way to hone their individual abilities in a fast-paced environment. This version of the game is ideal for players looking for a quick, exciting way to play lacrosse without the need for a full team or large field. It's a great way to introduce new players to the sport while maintaining the intensity and competitive spirit of traditional lacrosse!
