Spring High School Sailing Team is open to students in the Central Kitsap area grades 8-12 with sailing experience and coach approval. Bremerton and Poulsbo experienced sailors are also welcome, provided there is space and they have prior KSF coach approval. If you were NOT on the FALL 2025 sailing team, please contact our Foundation phone at (360) 447-8520 before registering online. Due to demand, Spring 2026 will be for students with some sailing experience or past team members, or those with coach approval. (If you are new to sailing, please contact us to learn more about summer sailing camps and other programs.) Basic swimming skills and comfort on the water are required. The team is registered with NWISA (Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association) and will compete against other teams in the Northwest. Regattas may be one or two days and are held almost every weekend, March-May. The Weekend Regatta schedule will be posted on our website and within the GameChanger app. Weekend Regattas may have a small fee to cover costs/lunches and the information is stated in the Notice of Race before the events.

Our registration is a set of demographic questions for data needed to apply to several grants for programs and equipment and to help us better understand how we can increase our diversity. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Please note we have a 10% cancellation fee to cover Blue Sombrero processing and accounting costs.

Cancellations 72 hours before the beginning of a season will receive a full refund less 10% to cover processing fees. No refund will be provided if a student is dismissed from the program for violating our program rules and health and safety rules or if a student elects not to continue with the program.

Inclement weather and other unforeseeable conditions: Inclement weather or other unforeseeable reasons may cause practice to be canceled. If this happens, we will communicate any schedule changes via the GameChanger app.
