NEXT LEVEL LACROSSE AND MOJO SPORTS

MoCo Sixes is bringing the future of the sport of lacrosse to Montgomery County. The fastest game on two feet just got faster with the sixes format, and what better way to teach rec-level players than with a league that emphasizes touches, building players’ IQ on both sides of the field, teaching proper defensive fundamentals without long poles, and developing proper spacing and team play on offense.

Teams will be given weekly practices and skills sessions at conveniently-located fields and then will compete weekly in 6v6 games on Sundays. The league will consist of an ice-breaker scrimmage on March 15th, five league games (3/22, 29, 4/12, 19, 26) followed by playoffs and consolation games (5/3 and 5/10) [5/17 is a makeup date if needed]. Coaches and league directors will nominate and vote for players to play in the first All-Star Game!

All teams will be given access to TeamSnap for easy, streamlined communication between league directors, families, and coaches.

Spring 2026 MoCo Sixes Rec League - Free Agent Registration

Montgomery County (MoCo) Sixes is an exciting new league for rec-level lacrosse players! The league will bring the olympic-style sixes to youth players in order to team them all facets of the game through its up-tempo, positionless format. Practices will be located at various conveniently-located fields for teams to train weekly so players are getting instructed on proper fundamentals and team play.

By singing up individually as a free agent, your son will be placed on a team based primarily on personal requests and school. Next Level will provide the team with a coach for the practices and games, and they will compete weekly to ultimately be crowned as league champions!
