Should I Volunteer To Be A Coach?

Do you love being around children and teaching core values such as enthusiasm, respect and being a team player? How about creating lifelong memories? Coaching with Brick Town Soccer Association (BTSA) gives you the opportunity to do both –  all while having a great time yourself! In fact, you are an important part of BTSA!  Whether you are a parent, extended family member or just an active community member, coaching kids will not only be fun and easy, but you will also have a positive impact on the lives of young athletes. Parents willing to coach will have their child on your assigned team.

What Training Is Required?

The following certifications are required to coach BTSA Youth Soccer games. Coaches must be 18 or older and are subject to background checks.

NJYS Soccer State Certificate (formerly F License)  (Travel Coaches Only)

SafeSport Certification - You’ll learn to prevent, recognize, and respond to emotional, physical, and sexual abuse and misconduct in sport

HeadsUp Concussion Course - Teaches the signs and symptoms of a concussion and the protocols to follow when a concussion is suspected.

All teams will have a professional trainer assist with practices once a week to help with coaching your players.
