Batting Cage Use

Guidelines for Each Park
·         All cages act on a first come first serve basis. No cages at any park can be reserved.
·         Cages are open for use, but not during school hours at Civitan Park.
·         In consideration of other teams, please refrain from using more than one cage at a time to allow others to use the cages.
·         On game nights, only teams with scheduled league games are allowed to use the cages.
·         When warming up for scheduled games, limit cage usage to 15 minutes per team (5-7 pitches per batter) to allow as many teams to use as possible.

Guidelines for Civitan Park
·         There are a total of four batting cages and one dual pitching cage at Civitan Park.
a. The batting cages are located behind the right field fence of Field 6 (split into two cages), along the third base fence of Field 4, and along the third base fence of Field 6.
b. The pitching cage is located between Field 1 and Field 2. The pitching cage has two mounds.

Note: there is no hitting allowed in the pitching cage as there is no netting to protect and no solid base (i.e. could not place a pad due to where utilities run)

Guidelines for Crockett Park
·         There are four batting cages at Crockett Park located between Field 7 and Field 8.
·         Lights at Crockett Park are operated remotely. If using these cages after dark, Crockett Field 7 and/or Crockett Field 8 need to be in use so that lights are available for the cages.

Guidelines for Granny White Park 
·         There are two batting cages at Granny White Park located behind the left field fence of Field 1 and behind the left field fence of Field 3.
·         Lights at Granny White Park are operated remotely. If using these cages after dark, Granny White Field 1 or Granny White Field 3 need to be in use so that lights are available for the cages.
