Why is there a volunteer deposit?

FRAA families play a huge role in the success of our league and we want to improve parent participation.  FRAA is run 100% by volunteers and we want to make sure we are providing our players with the best experience possible (We do not want your money, we want your time). 

How much is the volunteer deposit and what is the expectation?

The volunteer deposit is $100 if you are playing in-house only.  If you are playing FRAA travel as well, the deposit is $150 (incremental).  FRAA is requiring 2 volunteer credits from each in-house family and 4 volunteer credits for travel families.  The additional 2 credits for travel, will take part during the tournament season (your travel coach will have more details on that).  The volunteer deposit will paid by everyone during spring registration when you register your player(s).  At the end of the season, you will receive your volunteer deposit back, assuming you achieved your volunteer commitment, or retained by FRAA is you are unable to volunteer. 

What positions are available to volunteer for?

Volunteer Opportunities:  Each family will need to have 2 (or 4 for Travel) volunteer credits towards their family in order to have a return on their volunteer deposit at the end of the season.
