· What approximate ages are each division?
o Tee-ball – 4-5 yrs
o Coach pitch – 6-7 yrs
o Minor – 8-10 yrs

o Juniors – 12-14 yrs
o Seniors – 14-16 yrs
· When do I register?
o NOW! Registration is open between January 1 & March 8.
· Where do I register?

· Are there boundaries or guidelines for playing with Clovis American Little League?
o If your child is league age 4-7, the boundary lines DO NOT matter and your child can play with
whichever local league you want. (*league age is whatever age they will turn by Sept 1, 2025.
ie: they are currently 7 but will turn 8 before Sept 1 = league age 8.)
o Ages 8+ - You must reside or attend school within Prince St. - East to the Texas border - South
of Clovis to Rd. 3 - and North of Clovis to Grady at Quay Rd. 48. Please see the League Finder

· What if I used to live in the boundaries and moved?
o Once you play with American you are grandfathered in and can continue to play with American!
· What if I live outside of those boundaries and still want to play with Clovis American?
o There is an exception waiver, please speak to a board member ASAP.
· What about 6th graders at Marshall Middle School?
o If your child attends the 6th grade academy on the West side of Prince street, but lives East of
Prince, they should play with American.
o If your child attends the 6th grade academy on the West side of Prince street, but played with
American previously, they should continue to play with American.
· When is the season played?
o Approximately - Mid March to Memorial Day (late May)
o Juniors & Seniors play after the high school season ends (usually the month of May)
o All-Stars play after the regular season – They practice more frequently and District play should
begin around the 3rd week of June and depending on how the team performs, they could
advance and play through July and into August.
· When are try outs for Majors and Minors?
o TBA

· Does Coach Pitch and Tee-ball have to try out?
o No!
· When are practices and games?
o Practices will start the beginning of March.
o Scheduled practices depend on your coaches availability.
§ Tee-ball and coach pitch, USUALLY, practice 1 time a week for 40-60 minutes and have 2-
3, 45 minute, games a week. Again, this is at the coach’s discretion.
§ Minors and Majors practice 2+times a week and have 2-3 games a week.
o Practice and game schedules will be set as soon as try outs and registration are over and teams
are divided out.
o Per Little League Rules, every team must be scheduled for 12 games within the season.
· When and where is opening ceremonies?
o TBA
o Dickenson Field – 1401 Sycamore St.
· What are the fees?
o $70 to be paid at time of registration
o A late fee of $10 will be added if registering after March 8, 2025
o There is a $5.00 discount for siblings to play
o Sports Connect registration site adds a one-time $3.00 service fee charge. This is not a charge
from the league.
· Is there any funding to help pay for registration fees?
o Clovis American is a part of the T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant Program. To see if you

· What am I responsible for purchasing for my child outside of fees?
o Team colored socks/belt, pants, cleats/shoes and a glove.

· How can I help?
o We’re glad you asked! Clovis American Little League is a volunteer ran organization and we are
ALWAYS in need of volunteers. From coaching, to team parents, to concession stand help, to
umpires, to field maintenance to board members. If you want to help, we have a place for you!

· I don’t have time to volunteer, what else can I do to help?
o We’re glad you asked! Donations are always appreciate! We have different tier levels & you can
reach out to any of our board members and we will be happy to assist you in your sponsorship!

§ The Double - $250 – Includes benefits listed in Single plus team sponsorship OR a logo
banner in outfield at Dickenson Field
