Spring 2026 - NFL Flag @ RYC Lake Balboa

NFL Flag @ RYC is the premier youth football league for boys and girls ages 5-12 in the Lake Balboa area brought to you by The Riley Youth Club. The program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork.

What comes with registration?

An official NFL reversible team identified jersey
NFL Flag belt
1 practice game - 6 regular games - 1 championship game
End of season trophy
Picture Day with photos for purchase

Opportunity for players to stay active and develop passing, receiving, evading and coverage skills with instructions from their head coach.

NFL Certificate of Excellence will be awarded weekly to offensive and defensive top performers of each game.

NFL Insurance policy that consists of a $1,000,000 liability policy.

Age Groups

NFL Flag @ RYC assigns players to the following 4 divisions (age brackets):

Pee-Wees (5-6 years old)

Juniors (7-9 years old)

Majors (10-12 years old)

**Divisions may be adjusted, due to final registration numbers)**

GAMES:

Spring Season games will take place on SATURDAYS from early APRIL 2026 thru late MAY 2026.

Each game will be (2) 20 minute half's with a 5-10 minute halftime break. While our indoor turf field is under construction...

All games will be played at: BIRMINGHAM HIGH SCHOOL (Lake Balboa).

Pee-wee Games: 9am-10am

Junior Games: 10am - 11am

Major Games: 11am - 12pm

PRACTICES:

Coaches conduct their own practices but we encourage no more than once a week. Since all coaches are volunteers, providing their own time...Practice days/times will be TBD until your team is formed and based on coaches availability, but usually conducted 1 day a week after school hours between 5pm-6pm or 6pm-7pm. We will do our best to accommodate player's availability to the right teams.

SPRING SEASON WILL RUN FROM: March 28, 2026 - May 23, 2026

SPRING 2026 REGISTRATION - ($225)

**Refunds: You may request a refund up to 7 days after your registration date. No refunds will be given after the 7 day grace period (no exceptions, please read ALL above information prior to registration).

Our age cut-off for Spring 2026 season is March 28, 2026. This means the player's age on March 28, 2026 determines their age division.

Birth certificate is required for all new players (please scan/email) to [email protected]

Coach background checks are required for all new head coaches.

Game Day Attire

Required:

BLACK SHORTS with NO pockets

Optional:

Cleats are okay, but metal spikes are not allowed
Mouth pieces are not required this season, but recommended
