Middle School Field Hockey (U14)

U14 plays have many opportunities to play field hockey in Michigan!  

Middle School team field hockey has been around for a while in Michigan and is  growing.  Players in these developmental programs compete with other schools around the state and enjoy playing for their school teams. There is plenty of room for new programs, with several new schools opening up the sport in the fall. It's an exciting time to be a part of field hockey in Michigan schools and there is plenty of room for more schools to play! Middle Schools also have recreational programs and training programs.  You can check out the recreational offerings on our calendar and by bookmarking their sites.   These are often open to all athletes who wish to sign up.

Travel / Club 

There are several clubs in Michigan for U14 athletes to train with and play travel field hockey.  You can see the various clubs and contact them here.

Interested in playing but no local team? 

Find out how easy it is to start a new high school program!  There are grants available, coaching training and a wide community of supporters who can hep you get it off the ground!  Michigan High School Field Hockey Association will help you begin the process here.
