Frequently Asked Questions 

1. When Does Spring Season Start?
 - Spring Season opens for registration in mid October. The actual season begins mid February 

2. How long is Spring Season?
- Season runs from February until Mid June 

3. How old does my kid need to be to play?
- Our beginning division begins at the age of 3. Player must turn 3 by April 30th in order to qualify to play (Pony Rules & Guidelines with age)

4. Do you offer discounts?
- we offer a sibling discount of 3+ more children signed up under one account. The sibling discount is upon request and can be requested by contacting our treasurer at [email protected] 

5. What is a Snack Bar Fee?
- Our snack bar fee is a deposit you pay during registration. You receive this deposit back once you work a shift in the snack bar 

6. My child has never played before, how do I know if he/she will be ok with the other kids?
- We offer a ratings day that all kids new to our league must attend. This helps to place him/her in the draft correctly

7. What is a draft?
- ELB offers a draft where teams are selected by a players rating. This allows for teams to be evenly competitive, skill wise 

8. What days are games played?
- we are a very large league and try to stay on a strict game schedule so we can allow double elimination playoffs and prep for All Star Season which begins in June. For this to happen you will be playing multiple games throughout the week. We have games on our fields Monday through Saturday

9. Is this coach pitch or machine pitching? 
- Our league offers coach pitch and pitching machine to our Rookie and Shetland Division. Pinto Division and up is live pitching from players

10. whats the difference between pony and little league?
- Pony rules begin live pitching and additional rules at an earlier level than little league.
