Q: I've registered online, do I have to go to In Person Registration as well?

No, in person dates are for anyone who has had an issue online, would like to pay by check in person or has general questions about registration.

Q: What is the schedule and when will my child play?

A: The schedules are all dependent on registration numbers and will not be finalized until right before the season. Here are the GENERAL guidelines we follow and will change from week to week with weather, holidays, etc.
  • Aim for 2 games and 1 practice per week
  • Tball practices will likely be included in game times
  • Our aim is for one weekday and one Saturday morning game per week
  • Weekday timeslots are 5:45 (Tball through minors) and 7:45 (majors and up)
  • No games on Sunday
  • Exceptions for those teams who play other leagues (generally Juniors and up baseball and minors and up softball)

Q: What equipment will I need?

A: Your registration fee includes uniform shirt, socks and hat (baseball)/visor/headband (softball)
Items required
  • Baseball/Softball Pants (most everyone chooses gray)
  • Glove
  • Protective Cup (baseball)
Each team is provided an equipment bag with a team bat, helmet and catcher's gear. Most children choose to bring their own.

Optional Items to consider
  • Personal Bat
  • Personal Helmet
  • Faceguard (softball)
  • Heart guard Shirt for under uniform
  • Personal catcher's gear
Q: Does my child need cleats or turf shoes or both?

A: That is completely up to you, and will depend on age. For tball there is no real need for additional footwear.
All games played at Rath will be on turf infield and grass outfield. Games played at schools can be either all turf, all grass or a combination of both.

If you choose cleats there are NO METAL CLEATS ALLOWED. They must be molded cleats.

Q: What bat should I get?

A: Little league bat rules are linked here LL Bat Rules
Baseball Majors and below need to be a USA stamped bat or wood (please see rules link)

Baseball Juniors need to be a USA or BBCOR stamped bat or wood. Baseball Seniors wood or BBCOR (please see rules link)

Softball needs to be a USSSA 1.20 stamped bat or wood (please see rules link)

Q: How do I get my schedule and communicate with my coach?

Q: What is the Volunteer Fee and what does it entail?
A: To promote participation by all families, a $50 volunteer fee for each family will be charged at registration. If the family volunteers for the organization through the season, (coaches or in another capacity  like snack shack duty, picnic setup, events management), the fee will be returned at end of the season. If the family does not volunteer by the end of the season, the fee will be retained.
