Emerald Coast Cyclones Youth Football is an independent football organization whose goal is to provide competitive full-contact, tackle football for athletes aged 5-12 years old in the Milton, Pace & Pensacola area. Youth football is an excellent vehicle to teach the fundamentals of the game as well as sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and work ethic.
Emerald Coast Cyclones goal is to encourage football participation into the students’ high school years. Our season runs from August through the end of October every fall.
Our seasons typically start in mid-to-late July and run through the end of October. Players who are 5-12 years old in the fall are eligible to play. The costs are $175 per player. Players will receive all gear they need to play with the exception of cleats and socks. Parents have the option of providing their own equipment as long as it meets safety standards and matches the team's color specifications.
Emerald Coast Youth Football coaches are trained in and successfully passed a course on concussion avoidance and are subject to a rigorous screening process. Our teams are coached by volunteer coaches.
We will accept registrations throughout the summer on a first-come-first-served basis, so register as early as possible. To get a reduced registration fee, you must sign up before the April 30th Early Registration cut-off. All registration will be closed the day before our first practice. Each team has a maximum of 25 players, so registrations above and beyond that number may not be accepted.
Practices will be. held at Optimist Park in Milton, Home games will be held at East Milton Park. Away games will be 2 hours or less.
