Parent Expectations and Information

  • Registration dues are to be paid at the time of registration. If you missed the registration dates, you may check with the league President, Vice-President, or Secretary for guidance.
  • Refunds will NOT be issued after teams have been drafted per Snyder Little League Bylaws.
  • Tryout dates and location will be communicated as soon as they are set. If a player is unavailable to attend the tryout set for their division, they will be put in the hat at the draft. If a player is hurt and cannot complete in the whole tryout, he or she is welcome to be at tryouts to avoid being drawn from a hat at the draft.
  • Team drafting will occur right after tryouts. Team managers will contact parents within the week after the draft. Any parent requesting a team change for their player must take their concern to the board for approval.
  • Schedules will be distributed shortly after the drafts occur. Schedules will be created with games being played during the week. Makeup games will try to be rescheduled during the week, but they may fall on a Saturday.
  • Parents will work the concession stand on their team’s designated work night. Parents will have the option to pay $20 per player in lieu of working the concession on their assigned night. All players will receive a free hot dog after each game!
  • The visiting team will be on the 1st base side of the field. The visiting team coaches, assistant coaches, and parent volunteers will be responsible for preparing the field before the first game of the night or breaking down the field if it is the last game of the night.
  • The home team will be on the 3rd base side of the field. The home team will be responsible for keeping accurate official books and running the scoreboard in each game. Official books will be kept in the crates in the press box of each field.
  • Players are expected to attend the majority of practices. We understand that life happens, and there will be a few times when attending practice isn't feasible. Practice time is valuable in order for players and the team to improve together.
  • Barricades will be in place during the season. Please respect these zoned-off areas. They are in place to protect our children.
  • Umpire decisions are final! Any foul language, derogatory comments, or heckling will not be tolerated. If you are asked to leave the game, you will do so or a board member will escort you off of the premises. Law enforcement will be called if needed.
