Welcome to the Springfield Cowboys Cheerleading Program, proudly representing Western Massachusetts with spirit, pride, and unity! Our cheerleaders are the heartbeat of game day — energizing the crowd, supporting our athletes, and performing with excellence on and off the field.
Based in Springfield, MA, our program is more than just cheer. We focus on developing confident, disciplined, and empowered athletes through structured training, teamwork, and high standards. Whether new to cheer or building on past experience, every participant is welcomed into a safe, inclusive, and spirited family.

Divisions & Age Groups

Youth Cheerleading Ages 8–13
Athletes are grouped by age and skill level for the best possible training and performance experience.

Registration & Fundraising Commitment

Cost: $50 to Register
Just like our football program, we offer flexible payment plans with a required Cheer Fundraising Commitment of $500 per participant due by September 1st. Choose one of the following options:
Participate in our SNAPRAISE fundraiser
Complete 2 team-organized fundraising events
ALL TEAM FUNDRAISING IS MANDATORY

Program Expectations & Commitment

Cheerleading is a team-first commitment that requires dedication, energy, and participation. Before registering, please understand that:
Attendance is mandatory at all practices, games, and events
Weekend travel may be required for performances
Fundraising or payment commitments must be met in full
Uniforms and gear must be maintained
Full parent and participant engagement is essential
If your family cannot meet these expectations this season, we encourage you to wait until a future cycle when full participation is possible.

Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Game & Event Schedule

Cheerleaders will perform at Springfield Cowboys football games and may be invited to showcase events and competitions.

Respect teammates, coaches, opponents, and spectators
Commit fully to practices, performances, and fundraisers
Stay positive, encouraging, and focused
Practice safety in all stunts and routines
Maintain a positive attitude, even in challenging situations

Parent Expectations

Support your child and the team with encouragement and positivity
Communicate with coaches respectfully and privately when needed
Help meet all schedule, fundraising, and gear requirements
Refrain from coaching or criticizing during events
Promote a safe, inclusive, and fun environment

Springfield Cowboys Tackle Football Program

413 WE DEM BOYZ 

Welcome to the Springfield Cowboys Tackle Football Program! Based in Springfield, Massachusetts, we proudly serve children from all across Western Massachusetts. As a Division 2 Pop Warner program in the Central Connecticut Division, we are committed to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment where young athletes can develop their football skills, build character, and foster lifelong friendships.

Divisions and Grades:


  • U9 Division: Grades 3-4
  • U10 Division: Grades 4-5
  • U11 Division: Grades 5-6

Registration Fee:

Terms of Free Registration:
PLAYER DUE FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT – $250/player (Due by Aug 15th)
Choose one:
1. SNAPRAISE Fundraiser
2. Complete 2 team fundraisers
3. Make a $250 payment (opt out of fundraising)

IMPORTANT COMMITMENT DISCLAIMER
Tackle football is a serious team sport that requires discipline, dedication, and consistent attendance. Before registering, please understand that participation demands a significant time and energy commitment from both players and parents, including:
- Mandatory preseason and in-season practices
- Weekend games with potential travel
- Fundraising or financial commitment 
- Maintaining equipment and full participation
The success and safety of each team depends on every player showing up and giving their best effort — and on parents ensuring their child is supported and present.
If your family cannot fully commit to the schedule and responsibilities, we respectfully ask that you consider waiting for a future season.
We’re proud to offer this opportunity at no cost to register, but it only works when everyone is fully committed. Thank you for helping us build a strong, dependable football family!

Mission Statement: The Springfield Cowboys Tackle Football Program is dedicated to providing a positive, competitive, and safe environment for all participants. We strive to instill values of teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and respect both on and off the field.
Player Code of Conduct:
Respect and Sportsmanship:
  • Show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and spectators at all times.
  • Play fair and abide by the rules of the game.
  • Avoid using foul language, taunting, or trash-talking.
Commitment and Effort:
  • Attend all practices, games, and team events on time.
  • Give your best effort during all practices and games.
  • Notify your coach in advance if you are unable to attend a practice or game.
Teamwork and Attitude:
  • Support and encourage your teammates.
  • Accept constructive criticism and learn from it.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
Health and Safety:
  • Wear all required protective gear during practices and games.
  • Report any injuries to the coach immediately.
  • Avoid dangerous or reckless behavior on the field.
Parent/Guardian Code of Conduct:
Support and Encouragement:
  • Encourage your child to play by the rules and to have fun.
  • Applaud good play by both teams.
  • Avoid coaching from the sidelines during games and practices.
Respect for All:

  • Communicate promptly with coaches about any issues affecting your child’s participation.
  • Volunteer and assist with team activities when possible.

Leadership and Role Modeling:
  • Set a positive example in behavior, language, and sportsmanship.
  • Treat all players with respect and fairness.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive team environment.
Skill Development and Safety:
  • Focus on developing each player’s skills and understanding of the game.
  • Ensure practices and games are conducted safely and appropriately.
  • Address and correct unsafe behavior immediately.
Communication and Organization:
  • Communicate clearly with players and parents about team expectations, schedules, and goals.
  • Be approachable and open to discussing any concerns or issues.
  • Plan and organize practices and games effectively.
General Conduct:
Compliance with Rules:
  • All participants (players, parents, coaches) must adhere to the rules and regulations of the Springfield Cowboys Tackle Football Program and the league.
Zero Tolerance for Bullying and Harassment:
  • Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the program.
Substance Abuse:
  • The use of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited during any team activities and will result in disciplinary action.
Consequences for Violations:
Warnings:
  • Minor infractions may result in a verbal or written warning.
Suspension:
  • Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension from practices, games, or the program.
Dismissal:
  • Severe violations or continued misconduct may result in permanent dismissal from the program.
By participating in the Springfield Cowboys Tackle Football Program, all players, parents, and coaches agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Our collective commitment to these principles ensures a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved.
