Meet and Greet Fall 2019

Greetings, parents and coaches!

The Mako Soccer Club parent Meet and Greet night is next Thursday, 3/14/19!

Below is the information regarding the sessions for the Spring Season. Please plan to attend with your child(ren) who is/are registered to play this season, at the designated time for your child’s age group.

All teams must have a designated coach assigned, or selected, by the end of the Meet and Greet session to avoid dissolving teams and re-assigning players to other teams with a coach.

If you have not already signed up to be a volunteer, please consider helping out in making this a great experience for all players this season.

Rec Soccer

Our Recreational program provides children under 8 through under 16 with the opportunity to have fun as they play and learn the game of soccer.

Our U-08, U-10 and U-12 programs are academy training format with an emphasis on player development.  The focus of practice is on the development of individual fundamental soccer skills.  Games are played to provide players with an opportunity to use the skills they have acquired, without placing importance on game results.

Our U-14 and U-16 programs are organized for traditional team play.  Practices are geared toward all skill levels, and games are played in the spirit of fun and healthy competition.

Children in our Recreational programs will gain a better understanding of the game of soccer and continue to develop their dribbling, passing, shooting and defending skills.
