South Valley Water Polo Club (SOVA) is committed to investing in the best technologies, partnering with the most skilled and knowlegeable professionals and providing the most informed and focused water polo training possible. Our invesment in our club members includes providing an annually renewed subscription to the 6-8 Mobile App. In addition to tracking their Skills Challenge scores and individual performance statistics from Game Desk, the Mobile App provided access to training videos,global ranking against other players,performance indicators and analytics.

SOVA will now be a certified Skills Challenge Administrator and be able to provide theOfficial Skills Challengeto our club players on a regular basis (4 to 5 a year) to track performance improvements and adjust training emphasis. As an Certified Skills Challenge Administrator, our club players results will load to their Mobile App profiles. (The 6-8 Skills Challenge is the Official Standardized Test of USA Water Polo)

How to get started.

If you are a current paid member of SOVA Water Polo Club (or Wolfpack - SOVA CLOVIS) you will receive a one year annual subsciption to the Mobile App. All of your player results from the Official Skills Challenges you complete and all your individual statistical resuls from club games you participate in that we score with Game Desk will populate your player profile. Player and Parents:

We are excited to kick off our partnership with 6-8 Sports next month! To prepare for this, we need everyone to be set up correctly on the 6-8 Sports mobile app.

Throughout the year, SOVA athletes will pass through the 6-8 Challenge standardized skill test regularly and will also be scored with the 6-8 game desk at tournaments.

As part of our partnership, all SOVA athletes will be subscribed to the 6-8 app and will be able to access both their 6-8 Challenge results/ rankings and game results, analytics and +/- Performance Indicators.

ACTION NEEDED:

If your athlete already has an athlete profile on the 6-8 app, please check to make sure that all of their information is current and that they have been marked as "official".

In the email put (2) Email: [email protected] and (2) 6-8 ID Number & (4) Age Group (This is so you can have your account activated as a SOVA Club member with a one year subscription)

We will be collecting your athlete's6-8 ID numberand the email you use to login to your 6-8 app user account.

After you have registered and gotten the 6-8 ID number:
