South of the James Ball Club was established in 2021 and has been affiliated with Cal Ripken/ Babe Ruth Baseball, Babe Ruth Softball and Dixie Baseball Organizations. South of the James Ball Club is a charitable, 501(c)(3) organization designed to provide a positive environment for the development of sportsmanship, athletic skills and character.  We offer programs for youth between the ages of 4 and 18 in baseball.  The baseball programs are managed in accordance with guidelines set forth by national and internationals nonprofit youth sports organizations.  This organization primarily serves youth of Powhatan County and surrounding Counties.
