Welcome to the

2024 Season!

Welcome to the 2024 Season!

F.A.Q.

When does the season start?
Opening Day for the 2024 Season  will start on Saturday, May 4th and will feature a parade, opening ceremony, bounce houses and more!

How long does the season run?
Early May until Mid/Late June for older divisions.  All-Star teams continue in the district tournament following the regular season.

How do practices work?
Practice typically take place in April (after Spring Break) and last until the season starts.  Some teams choose to occasionally practice during the season but field availability is limited due to games.

How many games are there typically?
On average,  most teams play twice a week.  That fluctuates depending on the division, number of teams, etc.

Is travel required?
The younger divisions typically only play at the CLLL fields (sometimes Pitching Machine divisions will travel). Older divisions (Minors, Majors, Juniors, etc.) will play both at Cros-Lex, as well as other neighboring Little League areas including Emmett, Port Huron, Fort Gratiot, Marysville, etc.  Again, the amount of travel and games depends on how many teams are available in the various leagues and divisions.

What equipment is needed?
Every player should have their own glove and helmet.  Bats are provided for the tball division.

What bat should I get my player?
Little League has a dedicated website page that explains all of the rules and requirement for baseball & softball in regard to bats.  Before you go out and purchase a new bat, please double check with your coach or a LL Board Member to ensure you purchase the right size, type and approved bat.
