On Saturday May 1st Franklin Square Little League President Joey Martelli participated with Members of the Pastore Family and the former Franklin Square Ravens Travel Baseball Team in dedicating a Park Bench at Rath Park in honor of the Late Daniel Pastore. Danny was a member of the Franklin square Little League and like most Little League players was a constant fixture at the Park.

Local elected Officials including NYS Assembly Member Edward Ra and Town of Hempstead Council Members Bruce Blakeman and Thomas Muscarella and Town of Hempsstead Clerk Kate Murray also attended the event.

Special Thank You to all the FSLL Board Members who participated in the event especially Vice Presidents Lou Jaime and Craig Kennedy, Joel DiGilio, Chris Manzi, Terrance Ward, Rob Madio, Jeff Kokosinski and Mike Bennincasa.

The bench is located in the Right Field Area of Mattone Field at Rath Park and was installed at the Park by Members of the TOH Parks Department after the approval was proudly and overwhelmingly supported by Town of Hempstead Supervisor Donald Clavin.
