The Grass Lake Summer Youth League is once again forming teams for the 2023 baseball and softball season.  The GLSYL has a proud tradition of developing boys and girl’s skills as well as a long history of fielding competitive teams that enjoy success locally and regionally.  Even more importantly we have had a positive impact on the lives of Grass Lake area youth, their families and the community.  Without community support and help from volunteers this all would not be possible.

The GLSYL is guided by a volunteer board of directors and dedicated parent volunteers.  We are a non-profit organization that relies on the support of our community, local businesses and our families.  We offer baseball and softball for children from age 4 to 17 years old.  In order to provide our local youth with a positive and rewarding experience, we are reaching out directly to our area businesses and asking for sponsorships and/or donations.  For a small sponsorship fee of $300 our local Grass Lake youth will promote widespread advertising for your business.  Sponsors will receive the benefit of having their logo and company name provided on the GLSYL website and on each player’s shirt for the team he/she chooses to sponsor.  The GLSYL has many teams in need of sponsorship. Sponsors will have the opportunity to select a team from a variety of age groups, competition level, and even be able to select a specific gender if they so choose.

The GLSYL has a beautiful facility on Willis Road and will use all money gained from sponsorships, advertisements and/or donations to maintain our beautiful facility and upgrade it as needed.  In the next year we plan to install a sound system that will allow us to play the National Anthem prior to games and tournaments and also allow us to make overhead announcements for all to hear.  We also plan to install an overhead lighting system so we can play evening games and give the children an opportunity to play under the lights.

In the past many companies have chosen to donate money instead of sponsoring a team and/or buying a sign or brick.

Another sponsorship opportunity is a 3.5’ X 8’ outfield sign in the 2022 baseball/softball season. The initial price is $500 that covers the cost of the sign and the first two years on the fence. The cost of renewal is $150 for every 2 years.
