WHAT IS THE NIPMUC FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE?

The Nipmuc NFL Flag Football program is coed and is spread through different divisions.

• All of the players will receive NFL Reversible Jerseys for their team!  
• Games played on Awesome 30 x 70 yard TURF Fields, Digital Scoreboards, and Multiple Refs!
• Music from the Nipmuc Flag Football Radio Network at every game and the Fun Never Stops!  
• THIS IS THE FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!

Any surrounding towns players/teams are also welcome to join! 


"Lil Ballers" Division -  PRE-K/K - INSTRUCTIONAL 

This division is different than the other divisions and will play locally on Monday/Wednesday Nights in Upton & Mendon ONLY.   This is designed to be instructional with practices and the a quick game.  The coaches will teach the kids on how to play flag football and have a great time doing it!   At the end of the season the kids will play their last practice/game on the turf fields just like the older kids!   All Players will receive Reversible Patriots Jerseys!!  Registration Fee for Lil Ballers $120

Is your son or daughter in High School and want to play a sport in the fall?  We have the solution with the fastest growing sport on the planet, Flag Football!   This new division will give the opportunity to kids who would have otherwise not played tackle but still want to enjoy the sport of Football!   Don't miss out on the fun! Games & Practices For Grades 1st-12th

• Practices could be held on any night, Mon-Thursday during the month of August(Except Lil Ballers - See Lil Ballers Division).     
• Practices for teams run by Nipmuc Flag Football will be held at Miscoe Middle School in Mendon, MA.   Practices could also be held at Memorial School in Upton, and the Upton VFW.  
• Practices are on Mon, Wed and/or Thurs. @ 5:30 to 6:30 or 6:30-7:30.  Practices will be held at Miscoe Middle School in Mendon or Memorial School in Upton.
• Once games begin, in September, they will be held at    The New England Baseball Complex(NEBC) in Northboro, MA .    Games are on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting at 5:30 , 6:40, & 7:45(Older Kids), under the lights!  (Except Lil Ballers - This Division stays locally in Mendon and Upton)
  

Post Season- Only Nipmuc Flag Football's post season's consists of teams that will have the chance to play at the NFL Regional Tournaments here in New England.  The winners of these tournaments will get to go to the 2023-2024 NFL Pro Bowl for a chance at the Big One!   Good luck to all of the kids this season!

2024 Division's

• 1/2   This division is instructional/competitive with many being 1st time Flag players but still allowing the teams to be competitive.   Teams will have playoffs and Superbowl.
• 3/4  Competitve Division - This division consits of 3rd & 4th grade players.   Teams will have playoffs and Superbowl.  
• 5/6  Competitve Division - This division consits of 5th & 6th grade players.   Teams will have playoffs and Superbowl.  Teams in this division are eligible for Regional Post Season NFL Tournaments.
• 7/8/9  Competitive Division - This division consists of 7th, 8th & 9th grade players.    Teams will have playoffs and Superbowl..  Teams in this division are eligible for Regional Post Season NFL Tournaments.
• HIGH SCHOOL -   Competitive Division - This division consists of 10th, 11th & 12th grade players.   In some cases, 9th graders could be invited to this division. 

FLEX FOOTBALL - We have had several parents with concerns that we are like FLEX Football.  Don't worry, we are not Flex.   The RISK is NOT Worth The Reward.   Nipmuc Flag Football is NOT a "Contact" flag program like Flex/Tackle is.   With flex you wear some pads and a foam helmet for blocking and possible head and body injury.  Our program is considered a  "NON-CONTACT"  sport which is safer for the kids and Appproved by the NFL.  No pads or helmets required!   With the latest information about concussions with kids under the age of 16, we know that Safety is yours and our #1 concern!  Learn more here.

REGISTRATION FEE

Unfortunately, fees did increase a little this year due to Uniform , Referee, and Increased Field Costs.   We still kept early registration which starts in MARCH and will save you up to $20 per player!   So Don't Delay!

• Grades 1st-9th Fees
• Fall Early Registration Fee      $195     March 1st - March 31st
• Fall Semi-Early Reg Fee        $205    April 1st - April 30th
• Fall Regular Registration Fee   $215     May 1st  - June 30th
• July 1st - beyond.  Fall Late Fee $15

There will be a "Register" link at the bottom of this page when registration is open.   Registration for both The SPRING SKILLZ CLINICS and Fall Flag Football start March 1st!       Don't Forget to sign up NOW for the SPRING SKILLZ CLINICS in MAY as well!

April - Late:  Registration Closes
Mid May:    Spring Skillz Clinics - 2 days of fun & excitement getting your skillz up to par!   Register for this event starting in March.

FALL SEASON DATES
March 1st:   Fall Flag Football EARLY Registration Begins (SAVE $$)
May 1st:    Fall Flag Football Regular Registration Fees begin - No Discounts
June 30th:    Fall Registration Closes
July 1-31st:  Limited LATE Fall Registrations may be available. $15 Late Fee Applies
Late July:    Evaluations Begin.  We will be forming teams, confirming coaches, creating schedules and more during this time. 
August TBD:  Practices Begin   
Last week of August:   Fall Season Games Begin
Last weekend of October:   FALL Championship / Superbowl Games

October / November/December:    Registrations For The Winter Indoor COMPETITIVE Leagues Begin End of October For Session 1.  December for Session 2.
