Chula Vista Eagles Football and Cheer is a proud member of the West Coast Conference Pop Warner Football and Cheer with Olympian High School as our home field. We will be serving the Chula Vista and all surrounding communities. Our teams will be aged based with unlimited weight from ages 5-14.

 

You need to make sure you complete all of your forms and bring your documents with you to any of our in-person registration days. Document collection will be collected at all in person registration locations and conditioning practices. Football Players will need to be sized and fitted for gear their gear as soon as we receive the fit kits. We will let everyone know when that is available with a date, time and location is to be determined. All Football Players will be required to appear in person at the player certification in August 2024. This event is usually on a Saturday and the date will be published on the website/newsletter as soon as it is available.

 

The season will kick off August 1, 2024 with conditioning Monday - Friday for two hours per day. All players must meet minimum conditioning requirements before practicing with pads and playing in a game. This info will be made known once we get closer to the season. Beginning the second week of August we will transition to a to a three day a week practice schedule for two hours each practice.

 

 

Games are on Saturdays and usually start the last week of August and run through the end of October (into November if your team continues to advance in the playoffs). Pop Warner starts their playoffs at Week 6. If the team makes the playoffs, each team will continue to play until they reach a total of 10 games played. 

WCC uses ZORTS to track the games. All game times will be published on Zorts at least one week prior to the game, hopefully more than a week. We are not in control of Zorts publication; thus, your patience is appreciated! You can plan for games as early as 8:00 am and as late as 7:00 pm. Each game is between 2-3 hours each game. You will also have to arrive at least 1 & a half hour to 2 hours before your scheduled game to stretch, warmups, and a last review to prepare for the upcoming game.

 

 

Football (tackle) registration cost: $400 (one or more kids deduct $50)

Early bird registration cost: $375 (March 1, 2024 – April 1, 2024)

Payment plans are available through July 31, 2024

Equipment rental: $100

Player buyout fundraiser: $125 money due by July 31, 2024
