The Messiah University Tennis Camp has been providing an excellent camp environment for twelve years. Head Coach Jon Arosell and his staff work extremely hard in their effort to make this camp beneficial for the campers.

The vast majority of staff members are Messiah University coaches, players, and alumni. Messiah is a Christian college and those values and beliefs are woven into the tapestry of the camps and it's counselors.  All members of the coaching staff have background checks.

This will be the 12th year for our Tennis Camps at Messiah!


About the Ages 10-18 Camp (9am to Noon)

This summer camp is for advanced beginners through intermediate players

Positive, challenging & fun learning experience

Focuses on all aspects of tennis technique as well as strategy and sportsmanship

Experienced certified instructors & with a low student to instructor ratio
Cost of the camp is $250 per session

About the Ages 5-9 Camp (9am to noon)

This camp is for beginning to intermediate level players

Follows the USTA pathway with a certified instructor

Uses Red, Orange & Green Dot low compression balls

Age appropriate equipment, nets & courts

Cost of the camp is $250 per session

Typical Schedule for the Ages 10-18

Camp Morning Session 1 to include: Both dynamic and all-court warm-up

Stroke of the day instruction

Drills, competitions, and games

Morning Session 2 to include: 
On-court and off-court tennis strategy instruction

Exhibition by instructors and college players  

Stroke patterns and drills on setting up points

Singles and doubles match play

Cool down, stretch, and thought of the day
