CCDS YOUTH FALL SOCCER REGISTRATION

 SAY East Soccer

• Grades: Rising 1st-6th
• Deadline: Friday, May 30, 2025
• Fee: $150 (Includes New Uniform)

Teams: Placement on a team is determined by age, not grade level. Age is based on the player’s age as of July 31, 2025.

• Age 6-7 (Typically First and Second Graders): Passers - 6 players vs. 6 players - Limit 12 players per team
• Age 8-9 (Typically Third and Fourth Graders): Wings - 8 players vs. 8 players - Limit 16 players per team
• Age 10-11 (Typically Fifth and Sixth Graders): Strikers - 9 players vs. 9 players - Limit 18 players per team

Teams can fill up before registration ends. Families can join the waiting list if a team is full. If there are enough players and coaches on the waiting list to form a second team, we will activate the players on the waiting list and adjust registration limits accordingly.

Games:

 Teams will play a 10-game schedule on Saturdays and Sundays. The season runs from late August to mid-October. Game schedules will be available approximately one week before the season starts.

Practices:

• CCDS team trainers will organize practices from 3:15-4:15 with support from parent volunteers. Volunteer parent coaches will organize practices from 4:15-4:45. Coaches may schedule additional practices as needed.
• Tentative Practice Schedule: Final determination will depend on trainer and coach availability.
• Monday: Passer Girls and Striker Girls
• Tuesday: Passer Boys and Striker Boys
• Wednesday: Wing Girls
• Thursday: Wing Boys

Coach Volunteers Needed:

 The youth sports program relies on parent volunteers as coaches for the soccer teams. This fall, coaches and additional parent volunteers are crucial for the program's success. Volunteers are needed to coach weekend games, support trainers at practice by supervising and encouraging players, run the last 30 minutes of practice, and communicate season schedules to parents. Since trainers will handle the skills portion of practices, less formal soccer knowledge is required for coaching.

Registration ends at midnight on May 30, 2025, but please understand that teams can fill before deadline. Those wishing to register after the registration deadline will need to contact Brady Brandt, Associate Athletic Director for K-8, to see if there is space available [email protected]
