Youth Summer Day Camp 1 (June 8 - 11, 2025)

*Due to construction on Messiah Baseball and Softball fields this summer all camps will be held at West Shore Christian Academy Fields and Gym! Only about 10 minutes from Messiah's campus!

SUMMER YOUTH CAMPS

Camp 1 - June 8th - 11th, 9am - 1pm
Camp 2 - June 22nd - 25th, 9am - 1pm

We at Messiah Baseball are so excited to be conducting youth development summer baseball camps again this year! At our youth development baseball camps, your child will be working directly with the Messiah Baseball coaching staff and players. The first three days will be structured around skills development such as: hitting, fielding/throwing, pitching, base running, and catching (for catchers). The Messiah Baseball players will be hands on and giving direct instruction to your child. We will also mix in a few fun games to keep it exciting for them each day! Throughout the week we will help provide application of the baseball skills covered in friendly competition, scrimmages, and the beloved slip and slide (We will inform you of this day ahead of time)! 
Along with baseball instruction, we will begin every day with a word of encouragement for your child to carry with them throughout the day. 
Summer youth development baseball camps are a highlight of our year at Messiah Baseball and we would love it if your young ball player would join us! 
Below you will find quick information you need as a parent/Guardian for the week:

Commonly Asked questions:
 1. Can we sign up and participate in both weeks of camp?  - Yes! we have a lot of participants who come both weeks and have just as much fun!
2. Is there an award ceremony day to watch? Yes. At the end of the last day, we will have a wrap up awards cermony for campers and parents to attend and watch.
3. My son or daughter is a beginner in baseball, is this a good camp for them? - Yes!!! We cater all of our stations and development to fit all skill sets which will help campers who just started to campers who have been playing for a long time!

Check in: 8:45 - 9:00am
Pick up: 1:00pm - 1:15pm (Camp will wrap up at 1:00pm)

What to bring:
- Glove
- Helmet
- Bat
- Sneakers and or Cleats (Will need sneakers if we move indoors)
- Personal Water Bottle (We will provide water stations for them to refill them)
- Light Snacks (With it being a 9-1pm camp, we will not be providing lunch)
             *We will have a snack stand for campers to purchase small items as well.
 
Tentative Weekly Schedule:
Day 1: Baseball Instruction and Games
Day 2: Baseball Instruction/Skills and Drills and Games
Day 3: WEAR YOUR T SHIRT! Baseball Instruction/Skills and Drills and Game
Day 4: Baseball Olympics and Water Day! Wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and bring a towel!
