The Carbondale Jr. Chargers organization provides the youth of the Greater Carbondale Area the opportunity to participate in youth football and cheerleading. Our program is open to children from ages 5-13.

The Carbondale Jr. Chargers was previously known as the Carbondale Unican's, Carbondale Lions and the Carbondale Blitz during the past 60 years was an original (charter) member of the Northern Area Junior Football League which was formed in the early 1980’s.  We are currently a member of the All County Conference Junior Football League (ACCJFL).

Our organization’s goal is to make a safe, fun, learning and nurturing experience for its athletes. Our program strives to build a lifetime of positive memories for our participants.
