SVYFL Flag Football is a recreational flag football league using NFL Flag rules for ages from 4 to 17 with the following age groups - U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, and U17.

Registration fee is - $125

Equipment Included in Registration Fee - Reversible jersey and flags.

Jerseys - Below are the jersey sizes. W is the chest width and L is body length. The jerseys sizes tend to be on the small side. If you are on the fence between two sizes, select the larger size. There will be a $10 charge to exchange a jersey for a different size.

Helmets - Players are required to wear soft helmets and mouth pieces. The helmet is no longer provided as part of the registration. Each player will need to obtain their own helmet. A limited number of used soft helmets will be available for purchase at $20 at the player evaluations on a first come first serve basis. New helmets can be purchased from multiple web sites. Players are distributed to teams using player evaluations and a draft by the coaches. This makes the teams evenly matched. No requests for a specific coach, to play on the same team as a friend, or car pool requests will be accepted. The evaluations will be held in mid-December.

Practices will start the first week in January. Teams will practice one night a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes at each practice. The practice night and time is decided by each coach.

Each team plays 8 regular season games and a playoff at the end of the season. The games are played on Saturday starting in mid January and ending on early March. Games are played in morning and until late afternoon with younger age groups first. All games are played at Viera Regional Park on turf football fields.
