Has anyone seen the ball?

This is a good question at the local youth soccer match. Generally you just follow the herd of kids on the field and then all of a sudden a ball squirts out and someone kicks it in the net and the mom’s and dad’s all start deciding who kicked it in. St. B’s has put together a program to introduce small sided games to enhance the development of each and every player. Players from age 3 to age 5 will play with only 3 players per team on the field at the same time. Players from age 6 thru age 7 play with only 4 players per team on each side. The small sided games allow for more touches on the ball and will be much more enjoyable for the parents to watch. This format is what is recommended by US Youth Soccer. SBSA is one of the only leagues in the Nashville area to offer the small sided format. Come join us and watch your youngster enjoy the game as well as develop his or her skills.
