Thank you for your interest in playing with FCA Lacrosse. Our goal is to provide a positive lacrosse experience for you to grow as a player and person. We accomplish this through high level-organized instruction, competitive play, and bible based discussions about practical life lessons in sports.

This fall we will offer the following competitive club teams: girls high school, boys 10U, 12U, 14U and high school.

We will also offer the Development Program for players ages 6-13 that are new to lacrosse, younger, not ready for club play, or not able to commit to the schedule at this time. The fall season is when players can "age up" to the next team. This creates new roles on teams from developing players to become leaders and leaders to become developing players. Please be mindful of the birth dates below and attend the proper tryout. It is normal for players to be nervous when moving up an age group, but it creates great opportunities for personal growth!

TRYOUTS happened on Sunday, August 18th, if you missed it please contact me for your next steps.

Players will be evaluated on their skill, strategy knowledge & application, game play, athletic ability, and player character.

Players must be committed to work on those areas on their own to ensure they are ready to be challenged, grow, lead and contribute at this level of play.

Tryout fee: $10

Shortly after tryouts you will receive an email with feedback regarding your tryout.

If you are selected for the team, you will need to ACCEPT your position on the team and use the link to complete your team registration.

If you are not selected for the team, you will receive feedback on what and how to improve and how we can help you. We desire to provide an opportunity for everyone who wants to play lacrosse to be involved and grow their game.

TRYOUT SCHEDULE for Sunday, August 18th at Guy Davis Field on 10th st in Stuart.

2 pm Girls High School, grades 9-12.

2 pm Boys 10U team, born after 6/1/2014

4 pm Boys 12U team, born after 6/1/2012

4 pm Boys 14U team, born after 6/1/2010

6 pm Boys High School, grades 9-12.

Players should arrive 15 minutes before their tryout time to check in and be prepared to start at the designated time.

Players should bring all necessary equipment, including mouthpiece, a reversible pinnie, and water.

There will be a brief parent/player meeting at the start of each tryout session. It will take place at the midfield sideline area.

Parents are always welcome to stay and observe practices. There are covered bleachers available.

For planning purposes, below is the tentative fall schedule of practices and tournaments.

Practices will begin Monday, September 23rd and Tuesday September 24th.

Mon/Wed 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm Boys U10 and the Development Program

Mon/Wed 7:15 pm - 9 pm Girls High School

Tues/Thur 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm Boys U12 & Boys U14

Tues/Thur 7:15 pm - 9 pm Boys High School

8/27 Voluntary practices begin for boys youth teams, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 - 7 pm.

10/12 & 13 TEAM RETREAT (includes overnight stay), Okeechobee area. This is a new event that players must attend.

10/26 & 27 Monster Mash Lax Clash, Wellington, Village Park fields.

11/2 & 3 Fall Classic Tournament, Stuart, Halpatiokee.

11/16 One day, scrimmage event or other team event, TBD.

11/17 - 12/1 2 week break for Thanksgiving.

12/7 & 8 All Boys Teams: Orlando Lax open (Orlando, they have changed the format, there will be playoffs)

12/14 & 15 Girls HS, Gold Coast Shootout (Davie)

Payment can be made in full, or in two or three payments. If needed, other arrangements can also be made.

Note: we have not increased our team fee in 2 years, like everything else, our expenses have increased as well. We strive to make this affordable for everyone and are still considerably cheaper than other clubs while offering more. If you have a justifiable need let us know, if you are able, consider contributing to our scholarship fund. There will be an additional cost for the team retreat on 10/12-13. We will also be looking for sponsors to help cover the cost. As well as volunteers to help make it an incredible team experience.
