Thank you for your interest in playing with FCA Lacrosse. Our goal is to provide a positive lacrosse experience for you to grow as a player and person. We accomplish this through high level-organized instruction, competitive play, and bible based discussions about practical life lessons in sports.

This summer we will offer the following competitive club teams: girls high school, boys 10U, 12U, 14U and high school.

We will also offer the Development Program for players ages 6-13 that are new to lacrosse, younger in age, not ready for club play, or not able to commit to the schedule at this time. During the summer season, players will compete at the same age group/team as they did for the past fall season.

If you are NEW to CLUB LACROSSE: this is a competitive sports environment where players are pushed to grow in all areas. Sports can provide tremendous learning experiences and we look to help players through these experiences in a positive God honoring way. Teams will attend 3 two day tournaments, Sat & Sun, and play 4 -6 games depending on their success and have an opportunity to win a championship at each tournament. Players must be committed to attend all team practices and tournaments and also work hard on their own. Playing time is earned, your player will improve in many areas just from being on the team. During tryouts, players are evaluated to see if they are ready to compete at this level of play.

IF YOU PLAYED WITH FCA IN THE FALL, you will NOT need to attend the tryout but you will need to register for the tryout so we can send you a team invite for the summer team. You have been sent an email to waive the tryout fee. IF you are not able to play with us this summer, you will be missed! Please respond to that email to let us know. Also, boys youth teams will be using the same jersey from the fall season. If you need a new one, you can purchase one during registration.

IF YOU DID NOT PLAY WITH FCA IN THE FALL, you will need to register and attend the tryout on March 2nd in order to be evaluated. We look forward to working with you.

You must complete this registration in order to tryout for a summer club team. You are only registering for a tryout. Tryout fee: $10

Shortly after tryouts you will receive an email with feedback regarding your tryout and team status.

If you are selected for the team, you will need to ACCEPT your position on the team and register by 3/14.

If you are not selected for the team, you will receive feedback on what and how to improve and how we can help you. We desire to provide an opportunity for everyone who wants to play lacrosse to be involved and grow their game. It just may be different than playing on a club team.

Players will be evaluated on their skills, strategy knowledge & application, game play, athletic ability, and player character.

Players must be committed to work on those areas on their own to ensure they are ready to be challenged, grow, lead and contribute at this level of play.

TRYOUT SCHEDULE for Sunday, March 2nd at Guy Davis Field on 10th st in Stuart.

2 pm Girls High School, grades 9-12.

3:30 pm Boys 10U team, born after 6/1/2014

3:30 pm Boys 12U team, born after 6/1/2012

3:30 pm Boys 14U team, born after 6/1/2010

5 pm Boys High School

Players should arrive 15 minutes before their tryout time to check in and be prepared to start at the designated time.

Players should bring all necessary equipment, including mouthpiece, a reversible pinnie, and water.

There will be a brief parent/player meeting at the start of each tryout session. It will take place at the midfield sideline area.

Parents are always welcome to stay and observe practices. There are covered bleachers available.

For planning purposes, below is the tentative summer schedule of practices and tournaments.

Practices will begin Monday, April 28th and Tuesday April 29th.

Mon/Wed 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm Boys 10U and the Development Program (5:30 pm - 6:45 pm)

Mon/Wed 7:15 pm - 9 pm Girls High School

Tues/Thur 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm Boys 12U & Boys 14U

Tues/Thur 7:00 pm - 9 pm Boys High School

5/17 & 18 ALL Teams except 14U (conflict). Summer Kick Off, Wellington, Village Park fields.

5/31 & 6/1 ALL Boys Teams (Not Girls HS). Orlando Summer Face-Off (If you want to stay at the Omni, you should book your rooms)

6/7 & 8 ALL Teams, except BHS. Summer Challenge in Parkland

6/14 & 15 Boys 14U and Girls HS. Father's Day Shootout (Indian Trails Sports Complex, Palm Coast, FL).

Boys HS fee: $500. They are only attending 2 tournaments. 5/17 & 18 in Wellington and 5/31 &6/1 in Orlando.

Payment can be made in full or in two payments. If needed, other arrangements can also be made.
