Covid Protocols and Policies
Hooksett Basketball continues to actively watch and follow the reports from the State of New Hampshire and CDC and will update policies as needed.
Limiting Crowds
- Games will be spread out more than in past years to minimize crowds.
- Please be aware of the number of attendees you plan to bring to the game to limit the number of spectators.
Equipment
- Balls - This year we are asking players to bring their own basketball balls to practices. Hookset Basketball can give a ball to kids who need them.
- Please visit our website for ball size suggestions per division.
Masks
Illness
- If a player or household member show signs or symptoms of Covid-19, cold or flu or have tested positive for Covid-19 please do not attend any Hooksett Basketball event.
- If a player tests positive for Covid-19 the coach must be notified. The coach will alert the board and board will determine next steps.
- Should a player start showing signs or symptoms during a game or practice they will be immediately sent to designated area which is located in the hallway outside of each gym. A parent/guardian must leave with the player immediately.
Contact Tracing/Quarantine
- Hooksett Basketball will use the same protocols for contact tracing, self observation and quarantine set forth by the CDC, NH DHHS and Hooksett School District.
