Paul Johnson - President

Bright Stars Sports and Entertainment LLC was established in 2021 by Paul Johnson with the vision of fostering sports and events within Southern Hillsborough County. Our journey began with the inception of our travel basketball program in 2019, and since then, we have expanded our offerings to encompass two sports in the area. Alongside travel basketball, we are now proud to introduce NFL Flag football to our community.

Paul Johnson brings a wealth of experience to our organization, having coached at various levels, including high school and middle school basketball. He also, played basketball in high school and college. His dedication to youth sports extends beyond coaching, as he has served as the Athletic Director for the Boys and Girls Clubs in Greensboro, NC, and as Assistant Center Director in Fayetteville, NC, and Winter Haven, FL. Paul is a graduate of St. Petersburg College, holding a degree in General Studies.

Nicole Cooper- Johnson - Financial Administrator

With over 15 years of experience in Banking and Finance, Nicole brings a wealth of expertise to Bright Stars Sports and Entertainment LLC as its co-founder. Her responsibilities encompass all administrative and financial facets of the organization, ensuring smooth operations and financial stability. Nicole is a graduate of The University of New Orleans, holding a degree in Business Management.
