Spring 2025 Recreational

Registration fees for Divisions A, B, C, & D for the Spring 2025 season will be:

$160 up until 1/30 (*early bird discount* reflected at checkout)

$170 from 2/1 through 3/15

Registration fees for Mini Mites and Mighty Mites is $85

The Recreation Soccer Program of the Roxbury Soccer Club continues to have huge participation numbers! We love having as many players on the field and learning the game as possible, BUT WE CONTINUE TO NEED PARENTS TO VOLUNTEER TO COACH TEAMS so that every kid that wants to play is able to have a team to play on.

For the Spring 2025 season, we will again be capping the number of initial registrations for divisions A, B, C and D. That cap is based on estimated number of teams and maximum roster sizes. Each team must have a volunteer coach. Simply put, the more parents that volunteer to coach a team, the more teams we can have, the more players we can have on a team. Registrations for divisions that are already at capacity will be placed on a waitlist. Players on the waitlist will be moved to active registration when space is available. More coaches, more teams, more players on the field.

Note: Registration fees are not charged when a player is put on the waitlist. When moved from the waitlist into active registration, you will receive an email, and we ask that you promptly log back into your account to complete the payment portion of your registration).

PLEASE CHOOSE THE APPROPRIATE DIVISION BASED ON THE PLAYER'S GRADE FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR .

**Players will be moved into the correct division prior to the season starting.

Mites - Pre-K and Kindergarten players. The program provides an introduction to soccer fundamentals and skills in an age-appropriate manner and is run by our training partner, Pre-K Kickers with parent coach volunteers helping to facilitate each session.

Mites runs for six weeks with a mid-September. Players will use size #3 soccer balls. Shin guards are required.

Mini Mites/Pre-K (3 and 4 year olds) – is held on Saturdays from 11:00am to Noon
Mighty Mites/Kindergarten – is held on Saturdays from 12:15 to 1:15pm

D Division – Kindergarten and 1st grade

Professional trainers run all practices with coaches helping to facilitate
Teams are co-ed and play 4v4 with no goalkeepers
1-hour practices (typically from 6:00 to 7:00pm)
48 minutes games (4, 12-minute quarters)
Players use size #3 soccer balls

C Division – 2nd and 3rd grades

Professional trainers run all practices with coaches helping to facilitate
Boys and girls teams are formed and play 7v7 with goalies on a small-sided field
90-minute practices (typically from 6:00 to 7:30pm)
1-hour games (4, 15-minutes quarters)
Players use size #4 soccer balls

B Division – 4th and 5th grades

All practices and games are run by volunteer coaches
Boys and girls teams are formed and play 9v9 on a small-sided field
90-minute practices (typically from 7:00 to 8:30pm)
1-hour games (2, 30-minute halves)
Players use size #4 soccer balls

Division – 6th, 7th and 8th grades

All practices and games are run by volunteer coaches
Boys and girls teams are formed and play 11v11 on a full-sided field
90-minute practices (typically from 7:00 to 8:30pm)
70-minute games (2, 35-minute halves)
Players use size #5 soccer balls

AA Division – High School aged players not affiliated with other teams (school or travel)

Teams play in the Rockaway Valley League
All practices and games are run by volunteer coaches
Boys and girls teams are formed separately when numbers allow
