COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

As the Season begins we will be providing more information regarding COVID-19 Safety Guidelines. We anticipate updated CDC information and NYS Guidelines/Mandates to be release before the season begins. As such, we will be planning to implement safety protocols to follow these policies.

Registration Cost Includes

Beginner: $125/player

Mini, JV, Varsity: $200/player

Coed Football

  • personalized jersey for players to keep
  • a reservation helmet

  • reservation game pants

  • referee fees
  • banquet and administrative costs

Equipment provided by PLAYER

Players must supply their own

  • water bottle with NAME - Water bottles must be usable WITHOUT removing a players helmet. Gatorade Squeeze 32oz Plastic Water Bottle - Green : TargetNeon Orange Sports Bottle with Flexible Straw (32 Oz.) 
  • practice jersey/old jersey/ adult Tshirt large enough to cover shoulder pads during practice
  • cleats - Cleats cannot have metal spikes. Players can choose their own color. Team colors are orange, black, and white. 
  • socks
  • mouth guard - Mouthguards are available for sale through the Team Manager and Directors for a small fee. Champro Boil-and-Bite Mouthguards (50PK)
  • jock & cup - The underwear style jock and cup are popular among youth players. 

Optional Player Equipment

Many players choose to purchase their own practice pants with built in pads. These are much easier to wash and do not require you to remove the pads prior to washing.

Football Practice

  • Football Practice beginsMonday, July 25th
  • Practices take place at Newstead Veteran's Park in Akron on Monday - Thursday from 6-8pm.
  • Once school begins practice takes place on Tuesday- Thursday from 6-8pm. Field lights are used in mid-September.
  • Practice takes place rain or shine. Thunder and lightening may postpone or cancel practice. If practice is canceled for any reason a message will be broadcasted. 

Scheduled Games

Games are scheduled for SATURDAY starting mid-August. 

  • Beginner Game Time: 10am
    • Players should arrive to the field by 9 am to begin check in and warm ups.
  • Mini Game Time: 12pm
    • Players should arrive to the field by 11 am to begin check in and warm ups. 
  • JV Game Time: 2pm
    •  Players should arrive to the field by 1 pm to begin check in and warm ups.
  • Varsity Game Time: 4pm
    •  Players should arrive to the field by 3 pm to begin check in and warm ups.
