Spring soccer usually is open to boys and girls entering grades 3-8. If we can get enough players to start a U 8 team and U14/15 Team - and coaches to coach them, we are open to expanding. We feel while it is fine to play up sometimes playing at your true group is best in helping players develop the skills needed to continue to grow. We are going to place kids on teams that they should be on per their age, if we have more kids than can be allotted on the team and are not the true age for that team unfortunately if we do not get more coaches to volunteer, we will have to turn kids away. No one wants to do that.

Spring Soccer is one practice a week and one game on usually on the weekend- but Spring rain can cause some rescheduling - the day of practice depend on the coach's schedule and will be known once teams and coaches have been assigned.

We need coaches...we have resources for you to get information and practice ideas. It will require 2 practices a week and a game on the weekend, with some prep time in-between. The Spring Season is shorter than Fall, there are 6 games where Fall has 8.

Costs: $75 per player $90 additional uniform cost. Uniforms may be used for multiple seasons. Included in uniform price you will receive shorts/home and away jersey and one pair of socks with option to purchase another also a backpack with number. Families experiencing financial hardship can apply for fee waivers by emailing [email protected].

Practices start in late April with games running from May through end of June . We play other teams in the Southeastern District.

U9/U10 players play on small fields 7v7. Games are two 25 minute halves

U11/U12 teams play 9v9 on mid-sized fields. Games are two 30 minute halves

U14/U15 teams play 11v11 on standard fields. Games are two 35 Minute halves

Equipment Needed:

Soccer Cleats (baseball or football cleats are illegal because of the studs on the bottom)

Soccer Socks

Shin guards (under the socks)

u12 and below use size 4 soccer balls

u14 and up use size 5 soccer balls

It takes time to order uniforms, organize teams and complete all the needed steps to approve our rosters with the district. We are anticipating that some age groups will fill up, so late registrants may be turned away. So if you don't register on time you may find yourself without a uniform or with a team that has been cancelled or is full.

There are plenty of other areas to volunteer- without volunteers we have no club.
