Intramural Soccer means Soccer for All.  Everyone plays regardless of ability and the focus is on player development, team-work and good sportsmanship.  Teams are formed with the intention of producing evenly matched divisions.  All teams play the same number of games during the season, even in divisions with playoffs.  Teams are coached by a parent volunteers.


The UDFC Fall Soccer League is the club’s primary soccer season. The goal of the program is to provide player development through weekly soccer games in a fun, low-pressure environment.
  • Co-ed divisions from 1st Grade to High School. 
  • A player’s division is based on their Fall school grade.
  • Season runs Sept through mid-November.  No soccer Columbus Day Weekend.
  • Games are played on Saturday mornings at Upper Darby School District Fields
  • Game times will vary week to week.  Field location stays the same.
  • Saturday sessions run 1 hour.  Actual game times vary by division
  • Games format are based on US Soccer's small-sided game recommendations.
  • Teams are coached by Parent volunteers. 
  • Days and times of team practices are determined by the team coach.
  • Players receive a team shirt, soccer socks and ball.
  • Players must provide their own shinguards and cleats
  • 3rd Grade divisions and up hold playoffs
  • Younger divisions receive participation medals

Introduce the game of soccer the right way with a mix of both league games and structured teaching with professional youth soccer trainers in a single weekly session.

  • Co-ed teams for players from 3 thru 6 years old
  • Season runs September to early November
  • Sunday afternoon sessions
  • 60 minute - half training, half game
  • Training is led by professional trainers and includes games and skill challenges to introduce soccer in a fun, low pressure environment
  • Games are run by parent volunteer, team managers
  • Games are 4 against 4 (no goalie)
  • No additional weekday practices held. Sundays only
  • Players receive a team shirt, participation medal, soccer socks and ball
  • Players must wear shinguards.  Sneakers or soccer cleats are acceptable


The UDFC Futsal League is the club’s indoor soccer season. Players can continue to develop their skills through an additional season of weekly soccer games and training, in a fun, low-pressure environment.

  • Co-ed divisions for 1st thru 6th Grade
  • Season runs December and January.  No soccer during Winter Break
  • Games are played at Swarthmore College, Lamb-Miller Fieldhouse
  • Completion of a Swarthmore College liability waiver is required to play
  • Sunday Sessions are 1 hour and include a training with coaches from the Swarthmore College Men's Soccer Team and a 30 min game
  • Games are 5 against 5 and follow modified US Soccer's Futsal Rules
  • Teams are formed with the intention to be competitively balanced.
  • Teams are coached by parent volunteers
  • There are no additional weekday practices
  • Players receive a team shirt
  • All players must wear shinguards. Sneakers or indoor soccer shoes only - NO CLEATS

Spring Academy - 2021

The Spring Academy programs are age and skill level appropriate training, run by professional youth soccer trainers for all new and returning players. These fun, high-energy sessions focus on developing a player’s individual soccer skills with a mix of training activities, skill challenges and scrimmages.

KinderAcademy - 3 thru 5 yrs old

Adult OpenPlay

Adult OpenPlay offers pick-up soccer games for adult (20yrs+) family, friends, and past youth players of Upper Darby FC. Games are available year-round and players can sign up at anytime. Registration is free and gets you updates on when and where games are being held.
