AMSTERDAM BASEBALL AGES 13-15

Amsterdam Baseball Is pleased to announce we are bringing back Recreation Baseball for players ages 13 through 15!

Through the City of Amsterdam’s Recreation Commission and a partnership with the GASD we will now be able to host games and practices on the 90’ baseball field at the 4 diamonds on Lindbergh Ave. in Amsterdam.

Proving a landing place for Little League graduates to develop and continue in the sport of baseball has become a growing need. Looking at participation numbers in our youngest divisions this need will continue to grow.

Registration for our 13–15-year-old division will be open to ALL area leagues.

THERE ARE NO RESIDENCY REQUIRMENTS PLAYERS FROM ALL LEAGUES ARE WELCOME!
Inviting players in from all areas will help give our local players a sustainable season.

The league will start up as the Modified and JV seasons end.
JUNE 9TH – AUG 31

We will schedule around area travel programs to optimize our potential registrant pool.

Players of all playing abilities are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

Pitchers who need rest for Travel ball commitments will be managed with care.

We will work with everyone’s coaches to make sure this league is DEVELOPMENTAL.

This will be a one to two day a week commitment.

Registration will open Jan 23rd and will Close on June 2nd.
All Teams will go to draft for player selection.

We are looking for coaches.

We will consider allowing players from our neighboring communities to be placed on the same team draft exempt and fill the rosters with draft players as needed.

League age 12s who have confidence can also participate to prepare for modified and bridge to Amsterdam Fall Ball.

13-15s as of MAY 1ST 2025
