Pateadores Blue GU10 team won the FC Man United tournament (Flight 2) with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Fullerton Rangers Red on Sunday.
Pats Blue topped the group with a record of 2-1-0 defeating WCXpress 6-1, Fullerton Rangers Red 2-1 and losing to SC Bayern 1-2.
Overall, it was great weekend for the girls as they represented the Pateadores organization with a great display of sportsmanship, teamwork, determination and an exciting style of soccer that resulted in a total of 12 goals in their 4 games. However, it was a complete team effort to secure their first tournament win of 2011 and a great way to start off with the Pateadores Organization
Goal scorers: Claire Dawson - 5, Ava Wagoner - 3, Jenna Soto - 1, Anita Mishra - 1, Aya May Prow -1 and Sarah Nix - 1
Strong defense was played throughout the tournament by Jaelyn Otomo, Makena Houston and Deeyana Roshanzaer while tough midfield and forward play came from Jenna Schiethauer and Olivia Patrick.
